Summer Research
The TAMS summer research scholarship provides funding for you to continue your research at UNT over the summer, provided you stay in McConnell Hall.
-
Some professors will also pay you if you decide to do research with them over the summer.
-
You can always continue research at UNT over the summer by commuting every day or by renting an apartment off campus.
There are also many research programs at other universities that you can apply for!
-
Please feel free to reach out to us about applying to these programs! The programs' applications require a lot of work, so don't hesitate to reach out to us for support on your essays and other things you may need.
As a UNT undergraduate, you also have the opportunity to apply for undergraduate summer research programs. These programs often offer stipends and/or pay, but some are very competitive because of their location at a prestigious institute and because of the other undergraduate applicants’ quality and breadth of experience.

Pivot is also a good resource for finding programs!
