Welcome to ASPIRE Exposition

The TAMS Research Organization’s Aspire Exposition program aims to supplement elementary school students’ classroom learning with hands-on experiments that contextualize their knowledge, creating a passion and interest for the science. Through interactive powerpoints and enjoyable experiments, young students learn the answers to many questions concerning why a phenomena occurs. By allowing young individuals of the Denton community to immerse themselves within the fields of earth science, physics, geology, and other disciplines, at a young age, Aspire Exposition hopes to plant a seed of curiosity within the blossoming minds of our community’s future scientists.

Personal Experiences!

"The most amazing thing about Aspire Exposition, to me, is the passion that all the kids have. During my first presentation, I was nervous that I wouldn’t be engaging enough for the kids to enjoy the experience. I was surprised and grateful to see that the kids displayed enthusiasm and genuine interest in our presentation. The most rewarding part about the experience is seeing students engage in the experiments in a hands-on manner that they do not always get to during class. I think that through Exposition, TAMS students have a unique opportunity to inspire young students and ignite their passion in the STEM field, and it’s a volunteering opportunity that I always come back from feeling as though I have impacted someone."  - Neha Kalakuntla
